The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of Prophet Premium Blends’ Diamond Shruumz mushroom-infused chocolates and gummies due to the presence of muscimol, a chemical not approved for food use. This recall follows reports of serious illnesses across more than 20 states and a possible related death. Symptoms reported by those affected include seizures, agitation, involuntary muscle contractions, loss of consciousness, confusion, nausea, vomiting, abnormal heart rates, and fluctuations in blood pressure.
