These dietary supplements are recalled due to the iron content, which by law (Poison Prevention Packaging Act or PPPA) should be in child-resistant packaging. The current packaging of the product does not meet this requirement, hence posing a poisoning risk if ingested by small children.

The brand “Nationwide Pharmaceutical” and its logo are visible on the upper left of the bottle’s label panel. The recall includes bottles bearing lot numbers M0786, M0816, M0817, and M0818, printed on the bottom of the bottle.
Customers should immediately place the recalled dietary supplements in a secure location away from children’s reach and sight. They should then contact Nationwide Pharmaceutical for guidance on product disposal. Alternatively, the product can be returned to the point of purchase for a full refund.
The recalled product was available at Albertsons, CVS, and Walgreens across the country from December 2022 to January 2023, retailing at approximately $6.
