The recall affects four-wheeled wooden walkers with specific batch numbers or no batch label. Sold from October 2020 to March 2022, these walkers were priced between $90 and $120. Baby Activity Push Walker Recall

According to a Consumer Product Safety Commission recall announcement, Wonder & Wise Baby Activity Walkers have been recalled due to a defect that poses a strangulation danger to small children. This recall affected approximately 13,300 units. The recall announcement states that the rear wheel rubber rings can disconnect from the rear wheels and the walkers. The rubber rings can create a strangulation risk for small children. Asweets has reported that they have received ten reports of the rubber rings separating from the wheel of the baby walker.

According to the CPSC website, this recall only involves Asweets’ four-wheeled Wonder & Wise baby activity walkers. The recalled baby push walkers are made with wood, and they have a panel of interactive activities and toys for babies. The walkers are described as being white with wood-colored and black-colored accents. The walker has a shape sorting puzzle on the front, other wooden toys, bead activities, and a storage compartment. There is a roller between the front tires with five wooden balls fastened. Only units that are labeled with Batch No. 0521SCP01155 on the undercarriage or units that do not have a batch number label are subject to this recall.

Asweets, the manufacturer and marketer of the Wonder & Wise Baby Activity Walkers, are urging purchasers of the recalled walkers to visit their website (wonderandwise.com) and select the “Product Recalls” link for more information.

Parents who purchased a recalled walker should take the walkers away from their children and discontinue use until they are repaired. Customers should also contact the manufacturer to receive instructions on how to receive free replacement rear wheels.

Asweets sold its Wonder & Wise Baby Activity Walkers at Albee Baby, Crate & Barrel, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, The Tot, and children’s boutique stores throughout the United States and online from October 2020 until the end of March 2022. The wooden walkers were sold at a price of between $90 and $120. The recall announcement states that the recalled walkers were made in China and imported by Asweets Global Incorporated, which is located in Industry, California.
